Your generous support allows the Whale Interpretive Centre to share its collection and programs with thousands of visitors from around the world each year, helping the widest possible audience experience, understand, and learn from our collective history. Understanding the biology of and threats to marine mammals is one of the most powerful tools in the conservation of these species. You are directly supporting environmental education and conservation with your contribution.

The WIC needs your help now more than ever. A fire on December 31, 2024 destroyed the Whale Interpretive Centre's entire collection and building. Rebuilding what was lost will take time but it is possible thanks to your help. Join our rebuilding journey today with the link or donation form below. The WIC is so thankful for your support.

The Whale Interpretive Centre is run by the Johnstone Strait Killer Whale Interpretive Centre Society, a registered charitable society. Tax receipts are available for donations made by Canadian residents and can be issued through Canada Helps. For other forms of contributions including cash, in kind, securities, charitable trusts, and bequests, contact us today to discuss your contribution.
