Meet the Directors of the JSKWICS
Jordan Bradshaw Gatto
Jordan Gatto grew up in Toronto but has always had a passion for animals and nature. His love of traveling, extreme sports, and a career in eco-tourism guiding brought Jordan to Telegraph Cove and the WIC for the first time in 2015. Jordan spent years bringing his customers from sea kayaking and whale watching trips to the WIC for several years before he joined the WIC team as an Interpreter in 2019.
Jordan built his love for nature and wildlife conservation and education through a wide variety of conservation projects from whales to bears and from rainforests to coral reefs. He is always ready and willing to engage in discussions about the natural world.
Jordan lives on northern Vancouver Island and works for BC Ferries. He is passionate about responsible ecotourism and marine mammal watching as well as wildlife photography.
Jordan's favourite memories at the WIC are meeting and marrying fellow WIC director, Emily Gatto. This deeply personal connection to the WIC made the loss in the fire all the more devastating, but also makes Jordan even more passionate about rebuilding. He is looking forward to making new memories in this next chapter of the WIC.
